Dear Western Washington Members December 13, 2021

Thank you for your continued patience. Since the departure of the regional series director at the end of the 2020 season, we have been actively searching for the right replacement to work with clubs and resorts to bring USASA events to Washington. We have even reached out to all resort partners to try to host events and use an existing club event structure without any success. We are still hopeful that an event can happen this season but do not have anything calendared as of today.

At this time we will not be hosting events in the Western Washington series. We have put a process in place for this year only, to allow all registered USASA Western Washington athletes to earn regional qualifying positions to USASA National Championships. We want to guarantee that Western Washington athletes can earn regional and national qualifying points and will be represented as a group at the 2022 USASA National Championships. USASA and our surrounding series will be stepping up to help keep our Western Washington series supported.
Western Washington athletes may compete in any series across the USASA and will be ranked against other Western Washington athletes using the USASA National Ranking as of March 14th, 2022.
The highest National Ranking within Western Washington athletes per age group, gender, and discipline will receive an invite to National Championships based on regional rank.
All additional spots for the National Championships will be filled from the USASA National Ranking.

Western Washington invites will be awarded in line with rule 103.05 and fall under regional series allocations.

Registration for events is currently open for our neighboring series, and across the country, so please get online and register for any events you are interested in competing in. These slots will begin to fill quickly. If you would like to join a neighboring series you can also change your home series affiliation.
